The American Lung Association in Nevada is seeking an energetic, well-organized individual with strong fundraising and communication skills to plan, develop, and execute special events and development activities in the Las Vegas region. Must have a demonstrated understanding of and ability to secure major financial gifts from corporations and individuals. Experience with non-profit walks, galas or other community based events preferred. Local travel and some evenings and weekends are required. Ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree plus two years professional fundraising or related experience. Excellent benefits package offered. EOE.
Program Coordinator – Tobacco Educator (posted 8/3/09)
The American Lung Association in Nevada is seeking an energetic, organized, and self-motivated individual. The candidate will be responsible for implementing regional tobacco program activities in the Las Vegas region. Primary responsibilities include developing and promoting community awareness, education, and youth programs specifically related to areas of tobacco education. Bachelor's degree required.
